An alternative to traditional knitting, peg looms are great for making hats, scarves, socks, slippers and other small projects.

During this workshop you will work on a circular peg loom and learn basic stitch techniques to create a beautiful hand crafted and unique beanie hat that is yours to take home.

We will supply a circular peg loom and tools for you to work on during the workshop. We do require you to supply your own yarn, ensuring you create the perfect beanie to suit your palette and style.

YARN YOU WILL NEED TO BRING WITH YOU: 200gm (x2 100gm balls) of chunky or super chunky knit yarn (suitable for 10-12mm needles). We advise keeping to one colour or using a multicoloured yarn instead of two separate colours.

The cost of the workshop is £40

Everything you need for the workshop will be provided including tea and delicious home baked cake.

We may need to contact you ahead of the workshop for the purposes of instructions, reminder of booking and parking etc. Please see the Privacy notice on the Hospice of St Francis website regarding how we protect your data
