Did you know that 18 years ago, number twenty was an incredibly bold and totally innovative concept for the Hospice of St Francis, in fact, for the charity sector as a whole!
Our famed charity shops were up and running for some time by then, well before ‘recycling’ became a thing in fact, but we wanted to go further!
We wanted to reach out to those many customers hungry for design led gifts and craving for inspiring homeware. So we took the plunge and converted 100% of the profit from each product into funds for The Hospice.
If you can forgive our unashamed pride, our shelf is full of trophies and awards 😉 Small Business of the Year, Dacorum Business Awards, Muddy Stiletto Best Gift Shop and Christmas window awards to mention but a few.
And so it is that we go up and down the country to track down that perfect gift, unearth new suppliers large and small and spend many many hours sifting through catalogues and delving into reps bags (video of Stef while on a visit - you will need to crop as it's quite long) New stock coming soon, watch this space.
