Join us for an immersive Furoshki workshop where you will discover the elegance, creativity and sustainability of this traditional Japanese wrapping art.  Furoshiki is celebrated as both a cultural tradition and modern eco-friendly alternative to disposable packaging.

Learn step by step ways of wrapping a variety of typical gift items such as books, bottes and boxes using different Furoshiki knots and folds.

Explore how Furoshiki can replace wrapping paper and gift bags, promoting sustainable living and thoughtful gifting.

The cost of the workshop will be £20.00.

Everything you need for the workshop will be provided including tea and delicious home baked cake.  Participants are required to bring a paperback book,  small/medium cardboard box or tin square and a round biscuit tin (if possible).

We may need to contact you ahead of the workshop for the purposes of instructions, reminder of booking and parking etc. Please see the Privacy notice on the Hospice of St Francis website regarding how we protect your data.
